I saw a couple of posts and some discussion about a temple that sits at the end of some good roads. Saturday being a solo ride day, I put the location on Google Maps and started my ride.

As I took the right after Kamshet and crossed the railway tracks, it became evident that I had been on this road a long, long time ago on my Z. It was like my memories were coming back.

I passed the scenic Uksan Dam, and the small altitude gain brought some great views. The rains had taken a break, and the Sun was beating down on the remaining clouds. The freshly watered ground was all shades of green. It gave me a good chance to get some awesome snaps of the bike. The best part of riding solo is that you can stop anywhere you want and are not bound by time.

As I rode closer to the temple destination, it became clear that I had visited this place a long time ago on my Z. But the roads were under construction then, and I didn't enjoy the ride that day. Now the roads are silky smooth and in great shape. The monsoon rains had made the mountains turn green, and the fields lined with rice crops provided some great spots for photos. The temple is a small one, nothing grand, but very serene and calm. A couple of waterfalls can be explored right behind the temple. I didn't enter the temple or go into the waterfall. Those are for some other time.

After a short breakfast stop, I made my way back home. The only thing to note is that after the railway track, crossing to the next village (about 4 kms), the roads are under construction and have bad patches. The rest of the roads are simply superb.
