On Sunday, our DOC group decided to ride through the scenic Panvadi ghat road and then head to breakfast at our usual spot in Aundh. As we gathered at the meeting point, the rains started to pour.

But to our relief, it faded away just as fast, and we made our way past the under-construction Dive Ghat. It was good that we started early, as the Dive Ghat on the way to Saswad tends to be a traffic choke point. The roads after that were smooth and freshly laid tarmac all the way to Saswad.

After crossing Saswad town, we turned onto the Panvadi ghat road, and it felt as if we entered a different realm. The roads swayed from left to right as it climbed up the mountain, and both sides of the valley were covered with lush green vegetation and fresh grass, all thanks to the monsoon rains. We stopped at a hairpin bend, and that's where Baljeet Sir took out his drone, and all of us got excited for the amazing drone shots that we were about to witness.

The drone gave a very unique perspective of the landscape, and this beautiful landscape needed to be captured from the top. Our phone cameras would not do it justice.

After a while, we headed on the road, and everyone on the cardo was simply stunned by the sheer beauty of the landscape. We crossed the plains, and then went up another ghat. We couldn't resist stopping again to enjoy the beauty and tranquillity of the place. Each of us had an idea of what we wanted to do if we built a house here.

Our original plan was to take a longer route back onto the highway, but our stops were longer than expected and everyone started to get hungry. So we changed our route and decided to join the Highway through the Kikvi - Kaldari - Parinche road itself. Luckily all this while the rains stayed away, as we made our way through the highway back to our breakfast spot.

Some of the guys who were not riding today decided to join us for breakfast. The table sounded like a fish market, as every topic was turned into a discussion, leg-pulling ending with someone as a target. All fun and games.

That's the brotherhood of the group.

A lovely group ride, through great roads captured in some awesome drone shots.
