A very Happy New Decade. How many people have the chance to say that? Maybe many, but what is essential is that it was the first Sunday of a new decade, and we were not going to miss a chance to ride.
We got an invite to join The Roaring Nomads on their ride to Bhimashankar, and we jumped on it. Just the seven of us from the Kawasaki gang showed up, but it was a fantastic ride. I have visited Bhimashankar previously, but never on a bike.
Its a historically and religiously significant place. The roads were decent, barring a couple of bad patches. Some scenic routes negated the cold weather.
The fantastic ride was further complimented when each one of us was presented with a Roaring Nomad Badge. It was a fantastic start to a new year and the new decade. I am looking forward to some more exciting rides throughout the year and decade.
