Redline - Redline refers to the maximum engine speed at which an internal combustion engine or traction motor and its components are designed to operate without causing damage to the components themselves or other parts of the engine.

For the uninformed, the redline seems far away. But when you ride a motorcycle, the redline is typically the only a twist away. This Sunday, I decided to upskill myself and ride with some new friends to Veer Dam.

The relentless monsoons have made craters big enough to hide Chadrayaan-2 on the highway, but we endured them and rode on. The roads leading to the dam were in better condition the last time I rode there. But after a relaxed breakfast, we decided to extend the ride to Khambhatki ghat to so some twisties.

It was fun to try and keep up with skilled and better riders. I wasn’t entirely able for but didn’t do too bad either (hopefully). Here are the fun bits of the ride.
