Leh - A bucket list for every rider. It’s been on mine for as well for a very long time.The Pandemic pushed, prodded, and canceled all the travel plans last year. So this year, when the opportunity presented itself, I jumped on it.
We planned a trip to Leh with a few friends, and we had the privilege of actually executing our plans. Let me say it outright, we took as many precautions as we could but traveling during these times still has its risks. We are aware of it, and this video (and the next ones) does not promote or negate the risks of traveling in these troubled times.
I had only heard about the beauty that the place possesses and seen it in pictures, but I had to see the magic with my own eyes to believe it. From the first moment we landed until the last mile, we covered the road; every inch, every nook, every corner is simply stunning. It is difficult to keep your eyes on the road.
You keep getting distracted by the beauty, the mystique, the gorgeous curves, the landscape, the rugged nature. Even the rocks seem to be so perfectly carved. A huge salute to the Indian Army and BRO (Border Roads Organisation) for building and maintaining these roads in such terrain.
